Purpose
It is the purpose of Cornerstone Ministries Church to:
Fulfill the desires of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Matt. 28: 18-20 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Help people meet Jesus, know Jesus, live like Jesus, and love like Jesus.
Worship (loving the Lord with all your heart.) Magnify the Lord
Minister (loving your neighbor as yourself.) Minister to your neighbor
Evangelize (going and making disciples of all nations.) Missions
Fellowship (communion with the rest of the body of Christ.) Membership
Discipleship (teaching them to obey.) Maturity
Preach, teach, and model the uncompromised Word of God to cause the believers to mature to the “measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
Encourage each other to be unified in purpose within the body of Christ.
Provide an outlet and environment through which God can meet the specific needs of people.
Provide a place and atmosphere where people feel free and encouraged to commit themselves to the Lord.
Tell others about Jesus Christ and the salvation available by believing in the Lord Jesus.
